Scania won the “Green Truck” award for the fifth time in a row. This year, Scania was once again entitled to receive the “Green Truck” award, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, organized by two of Germany’s leading German commercial vehicle magazines, with its R 410 tow truck.
The “Green Truck 2021” test drive took place in Munich, Germany, on a very challenging 360-kilometer track, and a power requirement of up to 430 HP was applied to vehicles loaded with 32 tons. All trucks participating in the tests were fitted with tires of the same brand with the same wear and pressure. With the R 410, which it participated in the tests, Scania reached a fuel consumption of 23.53 liters per 100 km and the highest average speed of 80.60 km per hour.
